Full Dentures

A full or Complete Denture is a removable appliance that replaces all the natural teeth. It can be made to replace the upper teeth, lower teeth or both upper and lower teeth.
At Cosmetic Makeover Dentures™ our full dentures are injection moulded with XTRA™ acrylic resin for a superior fit.

A full denture can be immediate. The denture is constructed before the teeth are removed, the teeth are removed and the denture is immediately placed in the mouth. The advantage is that a person is never without teeth during the healing period. An immediate denture will always require a reline because the tissues of the mouth will change as healing occurs. A qualified dentist will always fit the immediate denture if it is required.

Partial Dentures

A Partial Denture is a removable appliance that fills the spaces that remain when teeth are lost. A partial denture may replace one or many teeth. There are many materals partial denture bases can be made from.
At Cosmetic Makeover Dentures™ we use the latest materials including Titanium, XTRA™Acrylic Resin and Chrome Cobalt alloys. You can be assured of a natural look when fitted with one of our partial dentures.

Flexible Partial Dentures

New at Cosmetic Makeover Dentures™ are our metal free FLEXION™ flexible dentures. Using the latest materials we can construct a virtually unbreakable denture with no metal showing. These comnfortable dentures are not suitable for everyone people but are especially good for cases where metal would normally show. No more unsightly metal smile.

Overdentures

An Overdenture is a denture that uses precision dental attachments to hold the denture down. The overdenture attachment can be placed in tooth roots that have been saved, or placed into dental implants which have been placed to receive them.Dental Implants are artificial tooth roots. Holes are made into the jaw bones and the artificial roots are placed and covered over. The implants then heal and integrate with the jaw. After healing an artificial top is placed into the implant containing an attachment for dentures.

A dental implant provides a foundation to hold down a denture and hold it firmly in place.

Dental implants provide a stable foundation for a denture for someone who has lost all of their natural teeth. It is estimated that implant supported dentures will restore nearly 90% of chewing ability. Implant procedures are always done by a qualified dentist.
